"Stunning pub, restaurant superb and the rooms were amazing, clean and very comfortable. The only downfall was the tv in the room didn’t work. Reported first thing this morning and they had a replacement straight away. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend "

"Lovely location 5 mins stroll into the city and cathedral. Located opposite the River Stour weir and park is locked every night at 5pm so well maintained and quiet. "I like its history and the Staff are excellent. I disliked: a) Wasting so much milk. I only needed a small spoonful. b) Morning shower.......the water was tepid at the most despite the fact that I reported it and was assured it would be better next day. c) Noisy, especially on Friday night. I could feel the bedroom floor vibrating. d) I found the dinner menu very limited after the first evening. "

"Stopped overnight enroute to LeShuttle, very convenient just off the M20, in a village. Room spacious and comfy, with good quality tea/coffee. Enjoyed a tasty meal downstairs in the restaurant. In the room you could hear the people in the restaurant talking, but it was silent after 10pm (and they do provide earplugs if needed).
