"This was a cosy, comfy stay for 1 night. Although the owner couldn't speak English, and I can't speak proficient Japanese, the communication worked with the help of translation apps. Although it was snowing outside, the heating in the room warmed us up quickly. Note to say that the walls are quite thin, as you'd expect in a traditionally built Japanese building, so you can for sure hear other guests snoring. Didn't bother me at all though. Was a nice stay. "We had a great stay at this property. The hostess was kind and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The bath was clean and relaxing. The rooms were a bit cold this time of year, so I suggest starting the heater during the day while you are out to come back to a nice toasty room. The property is conveniently located with a beautiful vue on the lake from the front and Fuji-san from the back. I would definitely stay here again!"

"This property was a treat to stay in, especially for the price. The traditional futons made for a quiet, relaxing evening before a busy day of touring Fujiyoshida. I was a huge fan of the wood floor bathroom and wooden bathtub as well.
