There was a misunderstanding because of the booking agents listing - the hotel manager was quick to accommodate me even though she wasn't obligated to do so. The pool and hot tub were great! "I absolutely loved my stay and my room at this property. I stayed in a single room, on a higher floor overlooking the promenade. The chandeliers, the high ceilings, the vintage furnishings... made me feel as though I was living in a different era. Bathroom was large and modern, water pressure good. And the towel warming rack worked! The included breakfast offered a decent variety of hot and cold, and the dining room was elegant. Staff were very accommodating and kind. Location was perfect. And only a 5-minute walk from where the bus #2 drops you. I stayed for 2 nights, and was provided with housekeeping service which was appreciated. The only downside was my mattress wasn't comfortable....almost like I was sleeping on an angle. But I was able to fall asleep. As well, the people above were rather noisy on night #1. Thank you for a memorable stay. TIP: restaurants will be cheaper in the northern part of town, near the bus stations. TIP: the tourist info centre is located in Spa 1. It was hard to find, as trucks and banners were blocking the 'i' (for information) sign. "
