"日本の伝統建築を用いつつ、自動ドアがあったり、広く場所をとってあったりして使いやすい工夫があって良かった。段差があるので、足下が不安な人は要注意。ベッドの部屋だったが、シモンズのマットなのがとても良かった。食事も地元の魚や果物を使っておいしく、温泉の大浴場も気持ちよく使えた。部屋に温泉露天風呂があったので夜中と朝に使ったが、湯船が大きな壺で面白かった。イソヒヨドリの縄張りらしく、朝はイソヒヨドリのオス（お腹が赤い）に威嚇された。　"

"A very very nice hotel with the best hot springs, immaculate service, food of high quality and close proximity to a wonderful beach. It is not cheap but worth every bit of the money you pay."

"Very large rooms, and beautiful onsen. Did not get the meals as they do not cook vegan. A lot of wild crabs around which is fun. The staff is very helpful and polite."

"伊豆、特に西伊豆や南伊豆が好きで年に一度ぐらいの頻度で訪れる。今回の宿は初めての滞在であったが、ホテルとは違い宿泊客の都合に合わせたホスピタリティがあるという印象。たとえばチェックイン時にコーヒーを入れてくれたり、お酒を飲む人のために近くであればレストランまで送迎してくれたりと。海好き、山好き、話好きの人にはお勧めの隠れ宿的な存在かな。"

"Fantastic hotel service, large rooms with facilities and in hotel dining options. Great place for kids and situated by the beach with a pool and a walking garden path. Only downside is the area, lacking food options if you do not wish to dine in. However should not be judged based on that. Kawazu is just only 2 minutes away."

"少し古い感じはするけれども、温泉自体も素晴らしいし、景色眺めながら休息できるし、昼も夜もフリードリンクとお菓子が提供されて、海を見ながら夫と一緒に素敵で忘れがたいクリスマスを過ごしました。また、アメニティも最高でした。"

"Oni no sumika is a beautiful ryokan tucked away in Shuzenji. The staff are all extremely kind and accommodating (they do not speak English, so google translator is a must if you’re foreign and they are quick to use it) The traditional breakfast was great, with many small dishes that leave you satisfied but not full to start your day. If I am in shuzenji again I will be staying here."
