"The bedroom was clean and tidy. The bed was a super king size and was super comfortable. The pub was very nice and the bar and serving staff were very helpful, customer service was excellent. "

"Our stay was lovely overall and so was the Hotel. Fantastic location in the middle of town just what we needed. If you want to park in their car park space is very limited and I would advise you get there early to guarantee a space otherwise you will have to find parking elsewhere which is at a premium if it’s busy. "A fabulous little gem. The bar man even fixed my broken heel! Now that's going above and beyond. The lovely ladies even made My dog his own sausage for breakfast. Beds were comfy. My only issue would be it's a little bit cold in places but it's a old building whose owners (not staff) need to give it a bit of TLC "

"Amazing. Right from the start the staff were friendly, polite and welcoming. Food was delicious - we ate at the hotel for dinner - having the 'pigs' in blanket sharing starter and then both steak pies. Next morning - breakfast was great - although there was no 'bacon' for us - the server compensated by offering us additional sausages - so it wasn't too much of a disappointment. "
