"We come here almost every year for my daughter‘s birthday, which she requests every year. And she loves to stay in the farmhouse because all the animals are nearby. You can meet Mr. Walton at the barn in the mornings and help feed the animals and visit the horses. There’s a fun treasure hunt and fairy forest. We have also stayed at the nest in the past and had a great time, but my daughter likes being down at the farmhouse with all of the animals, especially Piper who would visit us every day....

"Very cute! Enjoyed the river view and the farm house feel. The wireless and TV's worked great. Enjoyed all the games in the house too."

"This is a great little place to get away for a few days. The river is beautiful and the location is very quiet and peaceful."

"Such a wonderful respite from our busy lives. Perfect setting , great home, so much fun tubing in the New River which is close by and enjoying the fire out and outdoor space and porches. Plenty of towels and supplies. Home is very clean and well kept."

"I specialize in the identification and removal of mold and other hazardous materials in hospitals and sensitive areas. There was visible mold, active leaks, and the smell of mildew throughout. The pictures were very misleading. The real problem here is we were visiting the area for an industry event (healthcare construction) and I brought a representative from a local healthcare facility who just so happened to be immunocompromised and battling cancer. Thats not a good look. I won't stay here...

"My family enjoyed this property immensely. A secluded cabin in the woods but with all the comforts of home made everyone happy. My husband enjoyed fishing in the river while the kid explored the shoreline and rock hunted. We made outdoor campfires and s’mores, and snuggled up by the indoor fireplace with books. Be aware it is a long driveway, so any plans out and about take a bit longer. The Food Lion in Millers Creek is about a 20 minute drive. "
