"There was a 4 pm check in. Property was not ready and we came back at 4.45 p.m. Rooms had cobwebs. Mouse in the dining room and big fireplaces blew out smoke when lit although we followed the directions. Firewood was for sale and not provided. Bathroom broke. Sofa in the main living room was old and sunk down so we could not use. "We had a wonderful time staying with Ruth and her family on the farm. She was exceptionally accommodating and helpful when we had to make some spontaneous changes to our booking due to travel difficulties. We stayed for almost two weeks and enjoyed spending free time with the dogs (especially the puppy), sheep and horses on the property.
