"If you love anything Victorian this is the place for you! The woodwork was exquisite! We had a lovely stay. Barbara was a wonderful hostess and made us a delicious breakfast! Fresh fruit with whipped cream. Lemon poppy seed muffins, raspberry kuken, ham and cheese omelets, OJ, coffee and tea! We enjoyed chatting with her and finding out about the history of the house!"

"We enjoyed our stay, but I do wish the place was a little cleaner. The shared bathroom (upon our arrival) had small hairs all over the sink and vanity like someone had emptied their electric shaver over it. Also, the doors to the rooms, including the shared bathroom, have no locks on them. The breakfast was very filling, and Mary (the hostess) was nice to talk to."

"We stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my husbands birthday. We wanted to get away somewhere quiet. We brought our two German shepherds. We appreciated the doggie goodie bags! They loved the all the open space and pond. We all loved walking around the property. It was so secluded and peaceful. The weather was nice too! I got to sit outside drink coffee, eat breakfast, read a book while listening to the birds. We would love to come back next time! "
