"I arrived amid a downpour and was very grateful that the hotel was so close to the train station (I was struggling to pull my suitcase with one hand while using the other hand to hold my umbrella and phone to follow Naver directions). The hotel matched up with the description, and the employees were all so kind and helpful!"

Breakfast was good and varied: I stayed 2 nights and there were different dishes the second morning, which was very nice. The young woman at the reception was lovely and very helpful."

Also the resin I gave it 4 stars instead of 3 stars is that the price is not bad, and I believe most hotels in the area are similar. The onsen is good but also other hotels have them as well. I guess this is one of the most famous ones. "

"Old town has its’ charm. I only found out about the historical church & other sites the day I left… Too bad, will visit Gongju again one day…. Overall, it’s a good stay. There’s a laundry steamer in the room!! Jumbo size tv screen & game station set up. Nice touch! The hotel is a 8mins walking distance to Tourist information center by Gangsanseong Fortress!! Also can walk to both Nuryeong & Royal tombs, National museum as well as Hanuk village."

"The room was clean enough but it seems that the hotel is one of those rent by the hour hotel. Expedia should be aware of that. Check in was not particularly welcoming."
