"Going to be honest, I did not realize that this was a B&B. I saw the location was close to where we were going, the price & the number of good reviews. We got there at almost 11pm & the host was very gracious & understanding. The room was lovely & quiet. Breakfast was delicious. The vibe of the house was very relaxed & cozy. Should we ever be in the area again, we will definitely be staying there again. "

House is very old and only drawback (which is original to the house and should not be changed!) is the bar/latch style door handles. The Violet Room has its private bathroom across the hall landing, but if you get up in the night as we do, you do make a lot of noise rattling those handles! "From the very start when we booked Jeff’s cabin, he was a gracious, responsive, and generous host.
