"Great quiet location for the family to get together. Plenty of space for everyone. We were able to get my son inside with his power wheelchair using a portable ramp to the porch and another up the door lip. Plenty of space to drive chair indoors. Need to be careful with the steps on the back deck, but half of the deck is accessible from the great room. Host was very attentive and look forward to staying again. The only downside is there is no bathroom on the second floor, so that is where the...

We had a chance to check out the historic John Burroughs site (what a view!) and bought fresh farm produce and meats at a nearby D & D Farm. "The pictures do not do this home justice. The house is just beautiful, roomy, and plenty of beds and rooms. Everything in the home is clean, fairly new, well stocked, and working well. Strangely enough there is no microwaves but that didn't effect us at all because we had a professional cook with our group. There was nothing we needed in the home that we had to go get. "We came to the area for a wedding in Tallahassee. Since it was a football weekend lodging in Tallahassee was expensive and in short supply. Toska's house in Monticello was wonderful. We had eight people from three different families that all had to dress for a formal wedding. The house was perfect. Spacious and immaculate. Beds were super comfortable and the swimming pool was very enjoyable for some down time in the afternoon."
