"The house was perfectly equipped for our party of the two of us and our overnight guests. The queen beds are comfortable. Standing on the beach or kayaking I saw turtles and rays. A pelican flew by regularly. The umbrella and lounge chairs were comfortable and the screened porch the perfect place to hang out. We hope to come back. "

"The hotel has the best beach on North Caicos! The room is located right by the ocean only a few steps away with an amazing view of the beautiful turquoise water 24/7! We felt like we are on our own private island... There is a bar/restaurant only a few steps away, which is the best restaurant in the area. The staff are all super accommodating and friendly, especially Grace who went over and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and unforgettable. The hotel is owned by a very nice local family who were also extremely friendly. The hotel served breakfast every morning delivered to the room with an abundance of fresh fruit. I already miss that beautiful place. Will certainly be back! "

"This was such an amazing find. My girlfriend and I are not resort people and so we wanted to find a property that both would allow us to feel like we are an apart of the island. This was the perfect spot cozied right next to a very popular beach as well as being away from the resorts. Susan was an amazing host and very kind and easy to communicate with. I will most certainly be staying here again when we come back"

"Minutes walk to a beautiful beach. You have the beach mostly to yourself. North Caicos is not overdeveloped and it’s such a nice contrast to Provo. The villa has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Both bedrooms have AC. The only thing that was missing was a pair of comfortable patio zero gravity chairs. "

"This home is absolutely wonderful and delivers even more than it promises in the VRBO listing. The views and the vibe are outstanding. The outdoor spaces are well appointed , very thoughtful and accommodating. Pool is great. The inside of the house is very comfortable. The kitchen is great for cooking... Spot, who assists the owners, did some shopping before we arrived (for a fee) as we were arriving on Sunday and with tight connections. As a plus (or minus depending on your group) the lower king suite is ample and lovely, but has separate entrance so does not connect/flow to the rest of the house. Enthusiastically recommend this VRBO!!"

"Wow! No words to describe everything about this winter escape from cold northern Iowa in February! This is one of the GREATEST family trips we have taken. We the grandparents took our 2 kids, spouses and 5 grandchildren on this priceless adventure in paradise.The property is absolutely stunning and better than advertised. Awakening every morning to coffee on the patio (evenings with a glass of wine) overlooking the pool, beach and ocean was heavenly. Daily walks along one of the most beautiful beaches we have visited was a favorite.We chose this location to get away from all the crowded, busy areas most locations experience. This is a beautiful home and very well cared for. The home has every amenity you need during your stay! WOWZA the back area is a total paradise the most beautiful views. The pool is BIG and the water is warm… we all enjoyed the pool area day and night. The grandkids ages 4 to 12 said it was their favorite place to be. The sand on the beach is like powder sugar, lots of sand castles were created.Dave was responsive, knowledgeable and respectful from the moment I contacted him about his property and our return home. Going from the airport, grocery store (ordered our groceries couple days before our arrival so they were packaged and ready for pickup), ferry dock to North Caicos was easy with zero issues. Thank you Dave, Mary, Delano and Regina for making this a great experience! We are already planing our next visit for a longer stay."

"Our group of 4 was looking for beach access that wasn't far away, and to get away from it all, and this property accomplished both. I did a decent amount of research on properties and the islands and we got what we were looking for with the Royal Hideaway. If you read through the reviews on this property, you will have a very good idea of what you are getting. The repeat stays from past reviewers is a big factor in why I decided to book this place and after staying once, I would definitely go back. The best part about the property is access to the water. Its about a 2-3 minute walk straight out from the property to get to a beautiful beach that you will most likely have all to yourself. Bambarra beach is about a 20 min walk or 5 min car ride, and is definitely worth checking out, but we ended up spending most of our time at the beach straight out from the property. The access to kayaks and stand up paddle boards through Royal Hideaway was an awesome amenity. The property itself was certainly nice enough for us! It has clearly aged over the years and salt-water has taken its toll but the property is still very nice. If you are looking for 5 stay accommodation, however, this may not be for you. Keep in mind, this is on an island that very few people live on. Minor upgrades or small construction projects would be a big undertaking due to the lack of access to goods and materials. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking and was very pleased with our experience!"
