"I highly suggest this place when travelling to Vienna. The tram (43) is 5 minutes away from the accommodation and takes you right to the city. The train that we took from Vienna Airport is just next to the tram. We even travelled to Hallstatt from here, which was a simple journey. I am from London, so I approached the train/tram map as the underground and then found it easier to manoeuvre. The flat is large, beautiful, and clean. Shops like Lidl and Adli are nearby, and a drugstore like Boots...

However, there were no mirrors in the room, and the poor sound insulation made it difficult to sleep well. "Initially felt a little unsafe it was dark and raining on arrival and was a little out of the area, however a very nice apartment which was very safe and walkable lots of places to eat nearby and lots of convenient stores.public transport ran literally outside the door but uber was amazingly accessible. "I am not surprised this lovely apartment had very high ratings, it’s truly a gem. Marion was extremely helpful and the most thoughtful host we have encountered in VRBO. We only stayed a few nights but when we return to Vienna this is the place we will stay. "

"We had a very enjoyable stay at Siegfried's apartment. Short ten minute tram ride to downtown on the number 2. Lots of grocery stores in the area. Quiet. The bedrooms on the second floor are air conditioned which was great as we were there during a heat wave. Good communication with Sigfreid."

"The small one room apartment was located in a quiet neighborhood. Close to two grocery stores and the 35a bus. The shower was unfortunately only a little bit warm, not hot. I do recommend to remove extra clutter and cleaning tools from the rooms. But otherwise it was ok for one night. "

"The hotel was very close to city transportation that mean walking distance 5 min. It was close to restaurants and shopping malls. It had super nice location. Our bed wasn’t comfortable but it’s ok. "

Another great stay at the Meridien in Vienna

"Great hotel in the centre of Vienna just a couple of minutes walking distance away from the Opera, main shopping area and other atractions like the Hofburg. Very nice restaurant and bar with a lot of food and drink options. The spa is ok including an indoor pool and jackuzzy but the water temperature of the pool was to cold."

"I had an amazing stay at this hotel and can’t recommend it enough! The location is incredibly convenient—just a few minutes’ walk from the main station (though I initially took a cab, not realizing there was a direct path!). From the moment I checked in, the experience was top-notch. I was upgraded to an executive suite, and it was absolutely fantastic! The bed and pillows were so incredibly comfortable that I slept like a baby—truly one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. The next morning, I was on the hunt for a great cappuccino after experiencing mediocre coffee at my previous location. The gentleman at the front desk recommended a nearby restaurant, and wow, the cappuccino was so good I ended up having two cups! Everything about my stay exceeded expectations, and I will actually be returning again in a few days. Highly recommended!"

"Brought mum for a long weekend. Mooons is conveniently located with lots of travel links and options. Staff were so friendly and helpful, and the whole feel of the hotel was relaxed and welcoming. Some building/renovation works taking place, so the decor was unfinished in reception/bar HOWEVER no works being undertaken during our stay so not disruptive at all. The breakfast is AMAZING, and we loved every second of our stay. "
