"After a long drive from Strahan it was such a delight to get to our room at the Masden. Had a front room with a view of the water. The room was modern, clean and comfortable with some added extras like a spa bath and microwave. Easy access, lots of street parking and little cafes to eat at close by. "

"Lovely clean room but not very sound proof, could hear conversations in next room quite clearly. Would not recommend the dining downstairs salad meal needed a life jacket to save it from drowning in the vinaigrette dressing. Plate of vegetables was not as advertised and smothered in dried hard herbs and over cooked. "

"I loved the olde worlde feel of this property. We learned about its history from chatting with the friendly owner. The decorating showed excellent attention to detail. Our room had a lovely bath which was welcome after wearying travel, as well as a shower. There was a good supply of hot water. The bed was comfortable.
