"I was impressed with this villa from the start. Satnav directions straight to the door. Communications from Claire Rouy excellent. The person who met us Ms Guinouard was very pleasant and helpful. "The house is exactly as described in the listing and more! It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with all the kitchen equipment you'd need. The outside space is lovely with a great view of the golf course. Check in was a bit confusing for us as there are two entrances to the Golf Residences which we didn't realise, so we ended up at the wrong one. Jocelyn helpfully sent up a dropped pin and we finally found the property. The location is lovely, but a good 20 minute walk to the beach...

"Second time at Les Cottages du Lac. The cottages are great and well equipped, so quiet and nice private garden to have outdoor dining, you can rent a bbq hot plate. The lake beach is a few mins walk with local playground and lots of water sports but the lake was polluted this week so we couldn’t swim in it. Nearest swimming lake nearby is 25mins at Sanguenet - beautiful! The food at the restaurant is very good but we found this year they are not as flexible as they used to be at dinner time....
