"We booked in to stay while attending an event nearby, and the location was perfect to get to and from it easily. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally attentive and good-humoured, which made us feel really welcomed. It was an easy check-in, helped by the fact that you can do some of it online. The place was a bit of a maze of corridors when you went up to find your room, which took a bit of getting used to when it came to navigating. "Pretty good all round. Parking at the back a bit challenging.. Needed an earlier than 08:30 breakfast on the Sunday as on a medic training course from 9am; chef admirably cooked some eggs up for me, which was brill. See you again in 2 weeks."

"Have stayed here before - so that should be recommendation on its own! Food in the restaurant is great and reasonably priced. We stayed in the Singh room - large comfortable bed, which was great. Room was a little chilly when we first arrived, but soon warmed up when we adjusted the heater. Very convenient for Tesla superchargers! The only slight annoyance - the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied - but no major problem. No doubt we will be back again!"

"A lovely stay. Roast dinner and breakfast the following morning were delicious. The suite we stayed in was large, nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. Easy to find and lots of parking Staff member Nathan and the lady who served us breakfast were both lovely. The cons - the hot water tank run out after my husband had a shower. We had to wait 45 minutes for it to heat up again. For the age/type of building this isn’t a problem but it would be good to give guests the heads up online...

"First time i have stayed at The Fox Inn but won't be my last, a great place to stop with very friendly staff. The room was fantastic and had everything you need, tea, coffee, shower & my room also had a bath.Plenty of parking directly outside your room. The pub itself was lovely, the food was fantastic along with the traditional English breakfast i had in the morning. Nothing but good things to say about the Fox Inn.."

"Excellent staff and room was clean enough Only gripe is the paper thin l lead glazed windows ( I’m guessing it’s a listed building) I could hear people talking and walking on the street 1 floor up Also very noisy road from 5 am until 11pm ! Tractors and bin Lorrie’s at 5:30am annoying as no soundproof windows or walls "

"My wife and I stayed overnight to meet up with family and have a meal together. The room was lovely, clean, and welcoming. Bathroom was modern and clean with good shower. The staff were very friendly and the service was great! We had a meal in the restaurant which was wonderful, the breakfast was equally as good! All in all a great stay and I can see us revisiting. "

"Excellent food and good service. Room 4 is a good size and well appointed. A/C heater works well. The bathroom/wet room was a little bit tired. Breakfast had a good choice and was cooked fresh. Location was convenient for driving. Would use again if in the area. "

"One of the best equipped and well set up places I have stayed. Great to have clean and well-equipped kitchen. My room looked out on the road; at first I thought it would be too noisy but the double glazing was very effective at blocking the sound. Good information eg clearly labelled light switches. Easy to use door seduriry with codes. I was delighted to be able to leave my luggage between check-out and train departure. Very convenient for station, town, restaurants, church. A lovely lit patio patio area to enjoy a drink on warm summers night.

"My partner and myself stayed here for 2 nights. The pod it's self is tidy, clean, small kitchenette with microwave and toaster, also there is a breakfast hamper, the fridge is stocked with the basics. The pod opens out onto a beautifully kept Japanese garden with Koi pond. Ian and Caz are great hosts and are at the end of a text or call if there are any problems. There is also a hot tub available which just topped off this amazing little retreat. Myself and Darren will definately be coming back....
