"The owner Raul is a very friendly and intelligent guy. He provided a lot of info about the area, such as the botanical garden, the mall and the restaurants etc. The hot water shower was the best I had during my trip in Brazil. His house is located in a very nice neighborhood. It’s easy to walk around and find the way back. "

The rooms, while small, are very clean and neat and the hotel owner is helpful with advice about what to do in Rio, but the price per night is way more than it should be for what the hotel has to offer.
