"An ideal location for our extended weekend getaway. Only a short drive to Crystal Mountain for some winter activities. The hot tub on the back deck was used every night. It's great to have a place to stay where we could bring the family dog with us. Our host was wonderful, and we would stay there again."

"Peaceful, the river is close and viewed out of every window. The hot tub was hot and ready; my dog and I had a wonderful long weekend, hiked the trails, enjoyed the snow, even made it to Sleeping Bear. Great location and just a short drive to trails, Traverse City, and all the surrounding areas. If you stay in winter, a 4 wheel drive is a must, the driveway access is not for the faint of heart. "Much bigger than it looks on the outside. Had everything we needed except shampoo and conditioner. Given everything else they had there, I think the previous renter might have taken them. It had everything else we needed. Really nice. Everyone had privacy. The video games were fun. Super great location for Crystal Mountain. "The location was awesome. Beautiful being on the river. Host was very helpful and made our kayaking experience fun. We enjoyed fishing even without success. Beds were comfy, may need new pillows on some. Very interesting furnishings. A bit of a museum, which we enjoyed. Could use a minimizing of things, but we loved the space and would definitely do it again. A lot of history here.💕"

"We tagged along with the men in the group for the weekend! Visited Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor, The Alpaca Farm and Crystal Mountain Resort and the men golfed at Arcadia Bluffs! House was perfect for our family! Hot tub and fire pit were used. Well stocked kitchen. PS…..I got the email about stripping the sheets after we left…..so sorry. "This house is in a perfect central location and has tons of charm. The house was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. Only reason this was not a 5 star stay, is due to the driveway not being plowed when we arrived. The property manager responded right away, however the driveway did not get plowed until the following day. Otherwise our stay was wonderful! "
