"I was traveling by myself this trip so I was looking for somewhere that was as easy as a hotel but quieter. The Nook was perfect! There are two parking spots which made it very convenient. The space is really cozy and has everything I needed! The neighborhood is very quiet and black out curtains and super comfy bed made for a great night’s sleep! "This is a great alternative to a hotel. We were in town for Abilene Christian University Homecoming to visit our college kid and it was close to campus and very convenient. Good neighborhood, close to restaurants and downtown. The only critical point I would have was the hotwater ran out on our shower about 5 minutes into it which was not a big deal for a man who takes a quick shower but was problematic for my wife and teenager. "

"My wife and our two children and their spouses and young children spent two nights. We loved the house. Lots of room for us. The location of the property was perfect for us. Remote enough so it’s away from town and quiet but close enough to Abilene to make a day trip. Very quiet and great for some morning and evening walks as well. We struggled a little to make meals because only 2 or the burners on the stove were working. Other than that it was a great stay and our family loved our time there."
