"My husband and I only stayed for one night while visiting Lake Como in late October. This is low season so some businesses are already closed for the season. The property is about a 20 minute walk from the ferry stop, and it’s all uphill. However, once you get there they do give you a short cut, but it’s still quite a walk and mostly stairs. "Quirkily decorated and very comfortable rooms above a restaurant. Hosts very nice. Quieter than I expected, considering proximity of busy restaurant. Coffee and tea available, along with wrapped pastry, but there are better breakfast options in immediate neighborhood. Wifi pretty weak, but you probably aren’t coming to Lake Como for the wifi. Not quite lakefront, but a few minutes’ walk to ferry terminal and the lake."
