"I was surprised by how clean and well furnished the home was, as well as it's very remote location. The access road is quite bumpy, so drive with caution. It takes you all the way up the mountain, amidst the snowcapped mosquito range and several 14ers including the legendary Quandary Peak and Mount Democrat. "The house had everything we needed and more! The views from the front and back were wonderful. It was centrally located to Vail fun and our wedding festivities. The host was very responsive and professional. They put a lot of thought into every aspect of the house for guest enjoyment. It was very clean and I would stay again! "

"Stayed here with my partner after the new year holiday and fell in love with the place! Only downside you cannot use the fireplace. They should update to gas fireplaces."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The unit is a little dated and could use some minor fix ups, but it has personality and it served our needs. Also it is tough to beat this location, you are like 100 ft from the Super Bee lift when you walk out the door, which is excellent for advanced skiers. For less advanced skiers, especially if you are taking lessons, you'll have to take the shuttle to Central or West Village, but the shuttle runs every 10 minutes and is easy and free. We didn't find it much...

"I Book this hotel when my flight from Aspen to Fort Lauderdale was canceled due to weather. I was attempting to get an Uber to the Vail airport, where American Airlines had rerouted me, but I was having great difficulty finding any kind of ground transportation. I booked this hotel in the event that I was not able to make my flight from Vail and I took the cancellation insurance that was offered by Expedia. Fortunately, I got a Uber just in time to make my flight from Vail. Because the hotel was noncancelable on Expedia I called the hotel directly when I finally got the Uber and asked them to send me an email confirming the cancellation. I subsequently filed my claim with Expedia/AIG, which declined my claim due to fine print in the terms of the insurance, which, of course I did not have time to read at the time I booked the hotel. Fortunately, the Redstone Inn chose to refund my initial deposit without my even requesting it. Thank you Redstone Inn for your excellent customer service and consideration in this challenging situation. I wish I could say the same for Expedia, but for anyone reading this review… buyer beware!"
