"Excellent basic, a little older, no frills accommodation. Very friendly stay...and they go out of their way to be over the top helpful on any issue. In terms of service despite the fact I don't speak Spanish...they could teach fine hotels what service means. Breakfast to room $8! Again, not fancy but lower price is a great tradeoff. A side street in Escazu but short Uber ride to Multi Plaza and restaurants in neighborhood. A terrific value considering all. If your wife wants fancy and a resort...

"When arrived it seemed that they were overbooked. Our studio was given to someone else. The replacement studio they gave us was terrible. A studio with 3 beds present. No table, no chairs, no curtains in street level bedroom, no towels, no hot water, reserved parking lot not available. No refund suggested or a gesture for the inconvenience. Bad hospitality."

"Reallu great experience, the host was great and the location is amazing. My only conpaint is tge running trains are a bit loud, but San Jose is a noisy place no matter where you stay so no stars lost. Ill try to stay here again soon."

"The Prado was very good The only thing that I did not like about it was the neighborhood it was in it seems to be in a lot for some sort of construction place I don't know exactly what that was but anyway the hotel was clean the staff was friendly the breakfast was okay I have had better but it wasn't bad overall it was pretty good neighborhood was the only thing that I didn't care for"

I pulled the blankets back the first night i was there and the top sheet had stains on it. I had to remove it from...

"In the bed we found HAIR from the last occupant. The hotel had not even changed the sheets. Upon our arrival the receptionist said he had no reservation for us and made no effort to resolve the issue in spite of the fact that we were the only ones present. He just rudely ignored us, and I speak Spanish "

"My stay at the Radisson was good. Close proximity to the airport and downtown San Jose. The property room is big and clean compare to be being 30 years old. Cleaning service came every day to clean and provided enough towels each day. The staff were amazing, every single one of them. I was not too impress with the food, but that was not just the food at the hotel but the food in general. I would definitely stay at this hotel again "

Hilton Garden Inn San Jose Airport City Mall

"Nice new hotel. Comfortable and clean. We were not happy with the arrangement for pick-up at the airport. No listing for HGI although other hotels were named on signage; we had multiple people trying to hustle us to take rides with them. Thankfully HGI shuttle driver eventually showed up and explained to us that he'd be back soon to pick us up (the hustlers kept saying (lying) that it would take 45 mins for him to return). HGI should have very clear signage at the airport and they should proactively communicate with arriving guests to make sure to only take a ride with the HGI shuttle"
