Find hotels near Mentougou Zhaitang City Ruins, Beijing

"It’s a holiday inn so you know what you’re getting. The room wasn’t so bad, nice bathrooms and not many options in that area for foreigners. My issue is they were doing construction and it wasn’t mentioned when I booked. One of the days they shut off the power while I was in the building. The first day they were repaying and messed up my brand new shoes. My wife and I had cement on our stuff. Was insanely dusty and dirty because of construction. Should really have been mentioned before any booking. Also did not offer early check in or for me to leave my bags there like most hotels do. My taxi driver didn’t think they were open because of all the work done outside the building and area Not exactly cheap stayed at insanely nice places rest of my trip in china for around the same price. It is close to the subway station and 2 malls which is nice. Maybe would rate it higher if it didn’t have the construction. Ended up moving to a James Joyce near by for $20 cheaper and overall way better experience. "

"Good living experience. The driver did send me to a different Holidayinn express 800m away when the exact address was used in GPS. While trying to find out why they don't have my reservation, another family arrived at front desk with wrong address too. "
