"Our first time to do a VRBO & we were blown away,,,it was a perfect venue for our 50th anniversary. It’s a beautiful cottage with lots of room and the fall decor made it cozy. We can’t say enough of our host, Amy Kirby, checking to make sure if we needed anything. Great time to go in late October for the colors. Don’t miss a sunset @ Brow Park nearby, great breakfast at The Hatter, visited Desota Falls park & Little River Canyon & just drive around to see more scenery…it’s everywhere. Ft. Payne is not too far a drive for a WalMart run😊 One of our favorites was the screened -in -porch,,, to just chill, read, listen to the woodpecker,,, all the fall leaves dropping, it sounded like a gentle rain. You won’t be disappointed staying at The Creek Side Cottage,,, we didn’t want to leave!"

"Fist off, this is a beautiful property & cabin. If you want a secluded, serene, relaxing location, this is it. We stayed an entire week and enjoyed it so much. Gorgeous decor, comfy beds, listen to the babbling water outside. With a quick drive into Mentone for shopping, this place is perfect. "
