"Comfortable room, bathroom in need of an update, but otherwise a good stay and have booked again."

"Marriot centrally located near shopping centre. Easy to find coming off motorway. Good location and ample parking, charged per night for parking. Rooms are clean and have all the essential amenities. Thought there would be robes as this was advertised online. Great breakfast selection, cooked well and decent temperature. Overall an enjoyable stay, would return."

Alisha and Anissa at reception were very good and despite working long hours at the stand only check in desks were smiling friendly and helpful. Service in the very large lounge bar with the giant theatre style sport screens was also top notch. Highly recommend! "

"Check in was awful. Asked to wait for 10-15 minutes as system “wasn’t working” with no apology or empathy from receptionist. Went to bar to get drink, had to pay as couldn’t charge to a room yet. Went back to reception with a queue of people that were being checked in (by someone else) all fine so took about 25-30 mins in all. Still no apology. Think should have come find me when system working?? Bar was all of 10 yards away! Got to room, and whilst clean, the carpet was threadbare, the same as it was along corridor to room (3rd floor). Room was also quite dark but think that was a “theme” Went to restaurant for dinner and staff were excellent and food was really good but was overpriced for what it was. See photo (£26) Warning, again dark theme and menu was extremely difficult to read, even waiting staff struggled! "
