"HIGHLY recommended! The cabins are comfortable and neat. All bedding, towels and toiletries are provided (although consider taking your own pillow if you have particular needs). The bakery next door is just lovely, although it closes at 3pm. Bacon and eggs for breakfast was delicious! The birds are lovely and friendly! Charlie the cockatoo says "hello Charlie" and then puts his head down for you to give him scratches. Ernie the galah wiggles around so you can pat the soft feathers on his back. The property is a quick, easy drive from Laura where there is a pub, grocery store, etc. It's a lovely part of the country, and your visit will be a relaxing getaway (you may or may not be able to connect to the internet via your mobile data). Don't forget the aeroguard for the flies!"

"Bathrobes. And good ones on a regional run what a treat. I left Ellen Hotel feeling rested. Modern rooms, improved air conditioning since the last time I stayed. Dark and quiet for a good night sleep. Service friendly, the lady who served served me at breakfast made me want to linger alas I had to move on for work. "

"What a relaxing spot. The Honeyeater birds and the Bees were amazing, and my old regret was not having more time to spay there. The old cars, bikes and tractors were an added attraction for me. Highly recommended."

"A quirky genuine comfortable beachside shack, great for our family stay. It was clean with everything that we needed. The kids loved the kayak and the beach toys that were left out for us and wanted to stay longer. We had a nice swim when the tide was in. "

"Unfortunately we only had one night here. Enough for one glorious sunset and one glorious sunrise. We loved the animals in the pens nearby and loved the fabulous kitchen. The host gave us some great insights into the history and geography of the countryside."
