"From check-in until check-out, the staff at this property were amazing, professional and exhibited exceptional hospitality! I’d like to give special attention to Marco and Ludovica, who answered my many questions, helped with transportation and set me up with what I feel is the best room at the hotel (105)! The incredible view, 2-door corner balcony and cleanliness of the room made my stay that much more enjoyable. There were many great dining options close by and the expansive, inviting beach was only a 5 minute walk away. Be mindful that in the off-season, local buses are not in service, so transportation to and from this neighborhood will take extra planning. Grazie mille!!! "

"Overall the stay was good and relaxing. The beach is not as portrayed, it was grubby and overcrowded, the sea was clean clear water. The food choices at both breakfast and dinner were varied and good, however hot options were never hot at best tepid. The bar was very good, but the music was very loud and not to everyone’s taste; it was difficult to sit quietly and read or hold a conversation. The pool area was excellent and the spa was good . You definitely need transport to visit surrounding towns or restaurants, the road is unsafe to walk, especially after dark."

"Amazing Masseria set amongst the orchards and groves in the area of Melendugno. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have everything you could need including a kitchenette and outdoor garden seating area. The bed was very comfortable, the shower pressure and temperature were perfect. Breakfast every morning in the common area was lovely with traditional Italian pastries, cheeses, yogourt, fresh fruit and a warm egg dish. Espresso coffees included. The staff were very welcoming and clearly take pride in their property. The grounds are kept immaculately clean and well manicured. The pool area is inviting with multiple cushioned lounge chairs. Bicycles are available onsite for free. The setting is conveniently located to some of the most beautiful sites in Puglia including: Otranto, Torre dell Orso and Lecce. It is also only a couple of kilometres from the small village of Borgagne. We a found large grocery store (Eurospin) in the town of Melendugno (9KM). Note that the property is gated, be sure to connect with the owners ahead of your arrival to ensure smooth entry, once you are checked in they will give you a remote to open the gate. Do not hesitate to book this place you will be happy you did."

"We absolutely LOVED this hotel!!!!! You feel at peace and so relaxed staying here, reminds me of a hotel in the countryside yet it’s so convenient being so close to all the popular towns and beaches. It truly is the best of both worlds. Everything was so so clean and the rooms were stunning, we even had a little sitting area outside of our room. The staff goes above and beyond with everything and anything you could need. It rained one morning when we were there and they went out of their way to bring our breakfast to our room free of charge. You can tell that that everyone that works there loves their job, they are so genuine and kind, giving us amazing recommendations for places nearby to visit. Always smiling and helpful. "This villa is located well for access to some incredible beaches, although we found it a little far to walk and so paid €5 to park closer to the beach. The owners of the villa were welcoming and helpful, pointing us towards a great snorkelling beach for our son (San Foca). The villa itself was clean and the outside space really make it stand out. The huge outside space well outweighs the smaller internal space and provided a comfortable space for us to relax. The kitchen was small and dated, but met expectations. The only downside to this villa was the fact there is only 1 AC unit (located in the front room) which meant we had to sleep with the bedroom doors open, not ideal with teenagers! It was also occasionally noisy from Next door and above, especially early in the morning. Was this villa worth €1.4k for a week (plus linen and tax which was an extra charge)? Probably not, but we were able to overcome that with the beauty of the local area which we were able to explore in great lengths."
