"This historic house for a week was perfect for our family with two five year olds and a 7 year old. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and there was nice outdoor space to eat and have a fire. The village was peaceful and quiet, and the house was a great launching point for adventures all over the area. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, and we had no issues with our stay! We would go back again if we ever make it back to that...

"This rental is a DUMP. The exterior is littered with garbage, old lawn furniture, broken playground equipment, discarded building materials and dead mice. The inside is camped, dark and dirty (our white socks were filthy two seconds after walking around the house). The village of Saxeten, however, is lovely. It is remote, peaceful and surrounded by gorgeous mountains. Many of the homes here are very tidy and well-kept, so this rental seems to be a blight to the community"

"Wir haben mit dem Studio im Chalet Hofer eine sehr schöne und saubere FW mit traumhaftem Ausblick auf z. T. schneebedeckte Schweizer Berge gefunden - ausgestattet mit allem, was man benötigt. Die Region bietet zahlreiche Ausflugsziele, z. B. eine Fahrt mit dem Schiff auf dem Brienzer See oder eine Fahrt mit der Zahnradbahn auf´s Brienzer Rothorn. Wir empfehlen diese FW gern weiter."

"Our stay was just about perfect. There were six of us, and we couldn't have found a spot that fitted our needs better (spending mornings walking and appreciating the local surrounds, and afternoons exploring Luzern, Interlaken, and lots of scenic places nearby). Their homemade cheese was delicious as well! The beds were comfortable, and the house had everything we needed. Highly recommend!"

"Perfect location with nice hospitality. They have amazing breakfast buffet which is great to start the day. Room size was great specially for the families having toddlers or infant, it has enough room space to kids to move around."
