"We had an apartment with a sea view, room was modern, exceptionally clean, very spacious, comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need. It's 10 minutes walk from the beach, with a note that to get the amazing balcony views it is uphill on the way back. But trust me the view is worth it. Daily cleaning service. We had a hire car and there is ample parking. There is no 24 hour reception desk but you have contact details should you need them and they respond very promptly....

"The beach is not like pictures with sand, is most rocks not for kids . Restaurant very big problem in the area you need to rent the car to going to Restaurant.and to go to sand beach."

"Great place to stay. Staff was great, in a great area. The main area of the hotel also includes a beautiful pool, bar and restaurant. Five minute walk to skala beach and close to skala port. Multiple bike rental shops around too. Great area to stay in and a good room."

"The staff is kind, the decoration is nice, the area is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Nice atmosphere. The bathroom is really small, needs renovation, and the tap was problematic. The place is far from Aegina town, and quite isolated (no shops nearby, and I doubt there is any public transportation to use - this might be a problem for people who arrive there and do not have a car). The location shown on the map when we booked was wrong and we got the impression that the hotel was in Aegina town...

"Rather than a guesthouse, this was a self-contained studio apartment. It was well-equipped. Great views and a small terrace and patio area. Housekeeping came once during the week. The owner met us off the ferry and took us to the apartment, we would never have found it otherwise. He did not come back to check if everything was ok, which would have been nice. Hydra is built on a hillside and to reach the apartment you had to climb many steps. It would not be suitable for anyone who is not fit...
