"This was such a great getaway for the weekend. Everything was clean and well maintained. The hosts were easy to contact and answered all my questions. Great way to learn about living off grid, showering in an outdoor stall and using a composting toilet. If you need to keep some food cold or frozen I suggest bringing some ice. They provided a small cooler. Overall great experience."

"We loved our stay. They thought of everything to keep us comfortable. Historic and yet thoroughly modern -- with all the tech you could want. Close to our son in Pittsboro and not too far from Chapel Hill! It would be great for a game weekend if you don't like the hustle and bustle of the campus area."

However here items needed more towels, no iron limited dishes, and hauling trash to curb was inconvenient, but pass that it was a wonderful experience. "We absolutely loved our stay. The property was so beautiful. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a family of deer, cute squirrels and a variety of birds.
