"The house is a beautifully redone schist structure in the center of Talasnal. All the comforts of home; nicely stocked kitchen, great fireplace (heated the whole house), comfortable beds, and nice hot showers. Great hikes just walking out the front door…although we did get lost the first day. Haha. Both Joao and Alda were super responsive and so helpful. Even offering to pick us up in Candal after our very long misplaced hike. Definitely purchase any supplies before arriving as the tiny Mercado...

"A lovely guest house, a large bed and two more for the children, a high ceiling, the stone wall gives a homely and warm feeling, the place is bright and clean and there is also lots of lighting . there are many electrical outlets for our cellphones hhh..., a comfortable kitchenette and a supermarket nearby with everything you need, everything is clean, comfortable and pleasant,strong wifi, hot water in the shower with good flow, a fun dining area, we felt like we were having a picnic, the...

"The house was great with plenty of space. The area was stunning and very peaceful with good walks nearby. Coimbra was easy to get to. Martine and Dirk (and their dogs) were great hosts and very helpful. They provided comprehensive information on places to visit, walks, restaurants etc. which made it very easy to plan our stay."

"The house is lovely. We particularly loved the outside kitchen, dining and lounge area and we used this a great deal. The pool was also great. The house is in a good location in a small hamlet but there are no facilities there so you do need to drive everywhere. It is about 20min drive to Coimbra which is a very pretty old city and definitely worth a visit. The Atlantic coast is about 45min drive where there are beautiful long sandy beaches. The only downside for us was the proximity to the A13...
