"The cabin was great and the outdoor fire pit was excellent. We didn’t spend much time indoors because it was cold - right at the end of the season, the propane heater didn’t work and electricity was limited. So we sat around the fire all night and that was perfect. My friend was pickier than me and didn’t sleep well because of scratching critters at the bedroom’s door to the outside. I slept like a log because the interior room had no windows and it was blackout dark - perfect for me! I guess...

"We immediately felt comfortable and at home when we entered the cottage. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. The view of the river from the living room and the deck is very pretty. "

"My wife and I were visiting the area to enjoy the fall foliage. The cabin was a wonderful place to stay. Good location to access the area. Abundant wildlife The cabin was clean and comfortable. The hosts did were responsive and friendly. Would stay there again."

"Overall, this met all of our needs and then some. We loved the renovated cabin and the convenient location. We didn’t love how loud it was with the traffic zooming by, but it didn’t bother us enough to affect our stay. Our kids enjoyed the games provided and the cozy beds. We were a bit fearful of the loft area as there is a spot where the kids could fall over if they weren’t being careful. "This place is absolutely stunning! I have never been in a rental that has been so beautifully decorated and so well stocked. Everything was thought of, from the fire pit for chilly nights, to games for entertainment, to a heated bathroom floor, to brochures on the areas attractions. We went for our mini honeymoon and i didnt want to leave! "

"It was our first family cabin trip and we loved the experience. The property was nice and spacious and fit the 9 of us there. We were 3 teens and 6 adults and were able to fit in the main cabin. We also checked out oil creek state park. Our only issue was the low heat when using the stove for cooking. 9/10 would recommend. "

"The house is decorated wonderfully and the kitchen is well stocked (spices, paper plates, cookware, etc). The beds are really comfortable. We loved the outdoor fire pit as well as the indoor fireplace. It's a nice retreat for staying in Ohio with parks nearby. Owner is very responsive. Loved looking out the large windows at the autumn colors. There's a good air filtration system. The living room chairs/couch were soooo comfy to relax at night and watch the big TV.
