"We booked for a friend’s wedding that was in the area, and getting to the hotel a little later than planned was worried we were not going to be able to check in. However, Kyle was already on it. We checked into our beautiful king room and was blown away with how pretty it was. It was stocked with everything we needed, plus some. The best part was, we could walk everywhere we needed to from this location as well. If we’re visiting the area, we will definitely be booking here again."

"This place was a great surprise! It was the perfect location in Sebastian with restaurants and places to visit within walking distance along the waterfront, and it was one of the best places we've ever stayed. I guess I didn't realize how big it it was when I rented it, but it has two large bedrooms with very comfortable beds, one very modern and nicely appointed bath, full-size w/d, and a very large living area with a fully-equipped kitchen. There was a rooftop deck with a beautiful view of the Indian River across the street and parking a few steps from the front door. Each bedroom and the living room had a 65" TV. Best of all, Pierce was always available for any thing you may need or questions about the property or the area. We highly recommend The River Rentals when visiting the beautiful city of Sebastian."

"Great spot nestled in a riverside area. So "shiny" it must be a recent renovation. Restaurants less than a block away, a coffee shop, and pretty much anything you need within walking distance. Great views from the second story porch and attentive staff if you need anything. I was on business travel but if I go back for vacation I hope they have a place for me there."

"When we pulled into the driveway, the nightmare began. The outside of the place was not like it was shown on the VRBO listing. There was green mold all over, a very rusty & dirty grill (there is not a stove in the house). When we walked into the house we could smell mildew & see mouse poop. We contacted VRBO right away which they were no help. We pulled the filter out for the A/C & it was CAKED with dirt &dust like it had never been cleaned. The only entrance door had a deadbolt & a lock set you would have on a bathroom door. We accidently locked ourselves out & there wasn't a way to get back into the house. We called the host who was very hostile because of our report to VRBO (they notified the host of our displeasure so that made for a VERY uncomfortable interaction). The host said we were "badgering her", because we called VRBO. Anyways, the host proceeded to REMOVE the door handles but she neglected to remove the locking mechanism so once the door was closed, we could not get in or out of the house. So if there was a fire, we would have been trapped inside! We called the host back &o9she came down and finally took the lock out and put a piece of tape over the hole. The only way we could get in and out of the house now was by having a key sticking in the deadbolt. The entire length of the stay we had to deal with a piece of tape instead of a handle. Also the host told us to park our car under the palm tree which resulted in a dead limb falling & denting our new car."
