"I have stayed here several times and this is what ive come to know. I would not stay here with children. There are just too many homeless people, transients, and other shady types hanging around. Also, always ask for upstairs. The rooms are so much nicer and you dont encounter as much of the unsavory types. Having said this, i will also say that the staff has always been very nice, the check in is always quick and painless, it is nice to have a microwace and refrigerator at no extra charge to...

So Expedia nor the padre never let me know they canceled my room the morning of checkin. I was still able to get a room but it might be something to look into. Especially for people traveling a distance like I was . "

"We loved our stay at this hotel as a quick visit to see friends. The beds were comfortable, rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options - pancakes, eggs, sausage, cereals, bread, yogurt, etc. The only thing I would say was a slight negative was that the pool is not heated, which would have been nice if it were (being that it's still cold/winter). But, great for a cold plunge if that's your thing!"
