There were 14 of us aged 65-82 and we ventured a few hours from home for a grand adventure (we just didn’t know when we booked months ago that wind chills would be 20 below zero!). "This is a beautiful property in a beautiful setting. It was a little difficult to find in the dark and the road up is a single lane for quite a while which is a little scary being so high up. The entrance was a a little confusing with a tough to locate gate button.The billing seemed a little off. We brought dogs. The cost was set and then changed when I asked for clarification on the increase when adding an additional dog. We were first told 50 per dog for the first two dogs and then 25 after....

"We had the most wonderful stay at High Meadows! This was our second visit to this cabin and won’t be our last. It is immaculately clean, the beds are so comfortable, and the cabin is well cared for. The surrounding property is beautiful. Mike and Tanya are so kind and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Mike even took us out on his gator to checkout a cave and the trails on the property. The kids and adults had a blast! Thanks for a great weekend!"

"This was a great cabin! It suited our multi-family get together well. We greatly appreciated the main living space having enough seating for all of us to sit together comfortably. The kids were thoroughly entertained with all the games. The only disappointment we experienced were the beds. Many of them were uncomfortable; some members of the party opted to sleep on the couch the second night instead of staying on their mattress again. "The outside of the property is just breathtaking. It has a movie area but the internet isn’t great. Our dishes were dirty so we had to wash dishes before even cooking. Master bed was broken. They did offer to fix it. It did look like someone attempted to fix it. The internet is a downfall. "
