"So fortunate to have spent a week in paradise! Casa Ofelia is off the beaten path, right on the ocean and has everything you need to spend a relaxing week in paradise! My room was spacious, authentic and right on the water! The luxury of listening to the thunderous waves every night was impressive. Kudos to Mari & Carmen for making delicious breakfasts and lunches. Chef Arturo aims to please and will whip up whatever you crave! A special shout out to Luis for helping me along the way. One note, Mazunte is not Cancun, you will not find hordes of tourists, Walmarts, Oxxo's etc. Due to recent rains some of the roads are washed out, so bring proper shoes if you want to explore. "This was an incredible experience. Zoa was very attentive to all of my questions prior to our getaway; they made me feel secure, welcome, and excited about choosing them. Solomon and Victor are fantastic; they reached out a day before our arrival to make sure all of the questions were answered. They sent us menus, maps, and so much more. The property itself is stunning, and I loved being onsite. The food is absolutely delicious; I wanted to eat all my meals thereafter I tried the first dish. They prepared a romantic anniversary dinner for my husband and me on the terrace overlooking the ocean. I can't say enough about Zoa, I can't wait to go back. "

"Helpful staff, very clean rooms - no beach towels offered so take one or buy one from the amazing vendors on Rinconcito street. Si many vegan options here! Yeah! AC in room was great too! We took the walking trail by the light yard in beach to see the sunset at Punta Cometa - amazing!!!!!"

"The house itself was quite cute. Comfy bed, cute decor and decently well equipped kitchen. The problem for us was that the address was vague. There was no Casa name given so we had to ask around. Had we not had a car rented, there was no way we could have stayed. We had a small child that wouldn't walk the distance. The casa is down a fairly sketchy, long, bumpy dirt road full of construction. We had no idea this was the case (even tho we asked about walking distance to the beach) The next problem was (and no fault of the owners) but the night time noise was almost unbearable. Dogs barking insistently and there is a disco or bar very near that has music pumping into the wee hours. The house was nice tho as I said before. They need to improve the yard and the upstairs deck with some shade and less construction materials and it would be a much nicer environment. The owner, tho not present was very quick to address a few issues while we were there. A decent stay"

"At the top of the 160-step winding stairway thru sub-tropical rain forest lies an amazing habitation with magnificent whitewater views. The beautiful complex of 6 separate cabanas was artfully designed and constructed by the architect-owner. Enjoy the birdsongs from your private patio overlooking the forest/ocean, or cool off in the infinity pool overlooking the waves. Staff was attentive and served us the best huevos a la Mexicana and espresso cafes of our entire Oaxaca trip."
