Mayville Lake House
We had an excellent stay. It was great that all 4 bedrooms had their own bathroom. We enjoyed the deck, firepit (until the rain came), and foosball table.

We stayed over New Years since we had local tickets to go out. We had plenty of spce, beds and bathrooms for our party and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the house.

Very nice stay
We enjoyed our stay at this house. 4 full bathrooms was wonderful. Had all the amenities you would need. The host was very accommodating. Even came to help plow us out when it snowed.

I am from Chautauqua county originally so for me this was my first time home since 2019. The kids love the lake and we had a great stay and the comfortable homey feeling of this house was perfect for our family.

My friends and I had everything we needed here for our weekend trip to Chautauqua Lake for a wedding celebration. Very clean home, great living space, and 4 nice bathrooms! This is a perfect spot for a large group.

Loved exactly up to the listing!
I came with a group for a wedding and the house was exactly what we needed! With a group of 8 everyone had plenty of space for both personal and the group to have time together. Would highly recommend for larger groups that are looking for a relaxing and quiet location.

Annual lake trip
This property was perfect for our group. Great gathering spaces and also great privacy with each room having their own designated bathroom. Hosts were great with booking process and answering any questions. This property was literally 3 minutes by car to our friends house on the lake. This was great if we forgot anything or needed to take a kiddo back for a nap. We will definitely stay again!

Great Lake House!
We very much enjoyed our stay at Jay’s lake house and would highly recommend this place to others. My boyfriend and I came for a weekend trip to see the eclipse, not knowing a lot about Chautauqua and we were pleasantly surprised by the house and the area as a whole. The neighborhood is very peaceful and we enjoyed the lake view. The house was very clean. We especially liked using the renovated kitchen and having coffee and tea on the front deck. This would be a great house for a group and we hope to visit again to use it as such.

Great stay on Chautauqua Lake!
This house fit our needs perfectly. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen was nicely equipped. Lots of outdoor and indoor games. The kayaks were great. The house has a great location with lots to do around the lake and in the area. All in all it was a great stay!

Roomy Lake House
We loved the lake house. Particularly that every bedroom had it’s own bathroom. Fire pit and game room were put to good use. They had kayaks but we weren’t there long enough to use them. Great view of the lake.

Nice house for a family stay
The house was fantastic for our family vacation. The bedrooms were all separate from one another, so there was a little privacy for everyone. Each bedroom also had its own bathroom, which was nice. There was plenty of parking for our three cars, and our family loved the outdoor activities (grill, hammocks, darts) despite the rainy weather. Because there were 10 of us, we did have to run out for additional supplies (trash bags, dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, paper towels) because we went through what was provided pretty quickly. Otherwise, the house had plenty of plates and cooking utensils. It also was conveniently located, with the local grocery being just a few miles down the road. Overall, it was a very comfortable house and we would happily stay there again.

This lovely home has four bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom, providing lots of space for a big family or group of friends. It is right across the street from Lake Chautauqua, with lovely views from the porch, balcony, living room and upstairs bedroom. The hosts are gracious and responsive, and have stocked the home with plenty of plates, dishes, bottled water, and both indoor and outdoor games. They even offer the use of kayaks and life jackets. The front deck is huge--terrific for grilling and outdoor dining, or just relaxing in one of the two hammocks or lounge chairs. There is lots to do in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Very Relaxing
We totally enjoyed our week at this property. The porch was very relaxing to sit and read on. We did take the kayaks and paddled up the big inlet. The walk to the boat ramp was around a city block or so. My husband and brother in law did a lot of biking from the house. We also enjoyed hiking in the Chitauqua Gorge and a trip to Lake Erie. Nice organization of bedrooms and bathrooms in the house let everyone have a little privacy. The property was very clean and everything worked well. The town of Mayville is very close with a well stocked Tops.

Great Family Getaway
This property was located just across the street from the lake. It accommodated our entire family: 6 adults, a 7,6, and 2 year old and a 4 month old. There was plenty of space for all of the families. The property was very clean when we got there. The kitchen has almost everything you might need to cook large meals and we used the grill also. Although the weather was rainy and cool, we took advantage of the kayaks provided and spent a lot of time both in and out of the house. We would recommend this place to any group that needs 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Located in Mayville it was a short drive to Midway Park, Bemus Point and Alpacaville, and the bike path. The owners were easy to contact and very accommodating.

Girls weekend getaway
This lovely home was the perfect setting for a girls weekend in wine country. There are 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, so we all had our own space. The house is comfortable and inviting, with a well-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, a very nice screened-in porch with a bar (although we didn’t hang out in there because it was chilly at night), and a gas grill. It’s in a prime location on the lake, and a quick drive to the many wineries in PA and NY. The property owners are most helpful and quick to respond to any questions, and even alerted us to the fact that this was Harvest Weekend so that we could get our tickets in time. All in all it was a fantastic weekend. I would consider staying here again!

Family time
We were able to get everyone together for a day or the whole week. The "elders" grew-up in Westfield and the newer generations live in the Buffalo area, Harrisburg, Chicago and Detroit. We enjoyed the large living spaces and yard. The annual croquet tournament was more challenging than we first thought it would be which is how we like it. We enjoyed short trips to Barcelona Beach, Comedy Hall of Fame and Panama rocks. Kayaking was great! We celebrated a 60th birthday at the Big Inlet Brewery. But we mostly enjoyed the house and fire circle. No TV all week is the rule and there were no complaints.
