"For two people this cottage was perfect for us. I would gladly go here again. It was better than advertised. There was plenty of room to spread out our things, park the truck, trailer and motorcycles. It has a great floor plan; lots of separate areas. We walked to the village for shopping & eating. Our dog loved it. A fenced in backyard helped keep him happy and controlled. There is no air conditioning; so for 2-3 hours in the afternoons (80 degrees), we needed fans to stay cool. "Last minute family vacay to see our son at Holloman AFB. Booking was a breeze. The place was absolutely perfect. It is nestled right in the mountains with plenty of wildlife sitings while sitting on the back porch. The place is adorable and updated. The cleanliness was impeccable and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook meals rather than going out to eat and there is plenty to do about a mile or 2 down the road if you want to get out and about....

"We really loved the cabin, all of us were able to sleep in our own rooms and there was plenty of space to move around. Our friends really loved the gaming system! Only recommendation would be pack a blanket and maybe take a small heater for the upstairs rooms. There are stove heaters but the constant having to add wood to the fire was a little tough, and the heater would only heat the master bedroom and part of the living room area.
