"We had a lovely stay, caravan was clean and has everything required for an enjoyable stay. The only thing needed was towels but we knew to bring those as it is stated when booking. Lovely comfortable bed. Owners very helpful, ensured we knew how to work the heating system if required. Kindly brought us the restaurant menu if we felt like eating out. Will definitely be back."

"Enjoyed the weekend at Wauchope Cottage. Perfect location to explore the coast and Galloway forest area of SW Scotland. House is super clean and much more room than we expected. The grounds are gorgeous and we loved walking around. It would be nice if there was an opportunity to visit the castle to see the inside. This is a fairly remote property, so be prepared to drive to anything you need. But so quiet and peaceful."

"Great food and phenomenal cocktails! A decent gym and a pool area. Restaurant staff were great but the bar staff need brushing up on their attentiveness. Once they’re there, they’re really good. The room was average at best but the rest of the hotel compensated for this. All in, od stay there again."

"Really nice hotel. Just stayed 1 night but room was lovely (we had a slight upgrade with a massive comfy bed). Room was clean with modern decor. Super friendly staff and a lovely breakfast included. Zero complaints but if you have any mobility issues be mindful that your room might have a shower over the bath rather than a walk in."
