"I loved this property as it was in the heart of the Garifuna culture. Once you get your bearings and just smile and walk the street and beach, you find amazingly friendly people. The room was simple and functional with a large balcony overlooking the street and beach. Drums banged away until 9PM and stopped sharply. "Centrally located. Waking distance to a grocery store and many retreatants. Well, the whole city is walking distance. Having bicycles available to use is a great feature. "

"We LOVED our little apartment. You can be part of the laid back, in town vibe on the front porch or step inside and close the curtains for privacy. On site owner is friendly and very helpful with local info. We enjoyed being able to walk to nearby restaurants or cook for ourselves as desired. Groceries, fruit/veggie stands are easy walking distance, safe parking, and the apartment contains everything necessary. We will definitely return!"

"What an amazing place right on the beach. We were the only ones stay at the beach property. Loved the lounge chairs, hammock, kayaks. Had communication problems with the property manager at times. No one around upon arrival and no instructions for wifi and TV. He did make arrangements for private snorkeling and fishing tours. The place does not have a hot tub as listed in amenities. The location is ideal at the quiet end of the sidewalk."

The location is within easy walking distance of all we could have wanted. And guides picked us up on the beach in front of the property!
