This is a Quiet, rural lifestyle property in a fabulous area of Taupo!

5 bedrooms with two bathrooms, well equipped kitchen with a pretty mountain view…

**Please note this is a Family Bach and you will have to provide your own linen - sheets, pillowcases, towels & tea towels, or let us know and at an extra cost we can have the linen provided and beds made before you get there.**

5 acres of gentle grazing (room for a couple of horses/ponies) should you want to bring them too!! (Please ask first - as neighbor grazes to keep grass down).

Plenty of parking in a quiet, private home. Enjoy a beer or wine on the deck with the view of the mountain or relax in the patio area and have a family bbq…. just a 5 min or so drive to town.

Plenty of riding for the horse enthusiast (large grass verges along our road, and the Taupo Equestrian centre not far either!!!) perfect for a couple families that want to get together in a quiet relaxing environment!

Bring the boat or boats!!! Heaps of parking, safe to leave outside as house is not viewed from the road..

Hard day, why not soak in a thermal hot pool while the kids play at the water park just 6 mins down the Road!
(DeBretts Thermal Spa and waterpark)… Better still go alittle further to Wairakei, better for adults to enjoy a quiet soak together (we highly recommend this one)

Dinner out?? In 10 mins you can be in the centre of Taupo, enjoying an awesome meal, (Dixie Browns is good) or you could grab a coffee and sandwich at Industrie Cafe just a couple minutes down the Rd or a no fuss meal at the Local diner @ Stag park (1950s American style diner), both great eatery’s we highly recommend!

If peace and quiet is what you're after, not far from town then this is the place to stay!! Quiet & private is why we love this place, the neighbours are awesome, and the view is of beautiful farmland with the lake just in view (until the pines grow) Perfect for a horse lovers getaway or a couple of families to get together.

There are rubbish bags provided, and a recycling bin as well.

PLZ NOTE: we do have security cameras around the outside of the property to protect from intruders while vacant.

Please treat our home with care and before leaving turn off lights and heated towel rail. Let us know if anything gets broken so we can sort it for next guests.

Great rural stay
Had a fantastic stay. Lovely location out in the country. We stayed with two other families and there was plenty of space for everybody. A couple of hand towels would have been great and some more staples like tin foil but all in all, throughly enjoyed it

Lovely spacious home in a beautiful setting. Easy to get to Taupo and the local spots. We had a fantastic family catch up and would highly recommend it for small or large groups.

Great batch for a weekend getaway with family and friends. Although we accidentally visited the neighbours a couple of times, it was easy to find and a great spot for people from across the country to meet. We will definitely be coming back for more bbq's and weekends away in the future!

Amazing house and views. Loved the layout of the house and it carted well for our family big family for Dad's 70th Birthday. We all commented that it might need to be our regular family get together spot.

Good place for a big group
This was a great space for a large group. The kids loved the bunk room and playing in the garden. It would have been useful to have a few more chairs for mealtimes. Remember to bring any basics you need.

Family getaway
My family and I absolutely loved our time there. It was spacious and quiet and peaceful. The scenery was amazing and we didn’t want to leave. The only down side to our stay was no clean dish cloths or scrubbing brushes which we purchased and left there as well as tea towels. Other than that everything was exactly what we needed. Would definitely go back again.

Birthday/Christmas Celebration with Friends and Family
We wanted to celebrate birthday & christmas with friends and this was the perfect place to accommodate 4-6 families. It was quiet, spacious and is also close to town. Shops were close on the 25th so we decided to go to the lake in Kinloch. Kids enjoyed it. We brought everything we needed in the kitchen and the bedrooms eventhough there were some linens available. We were able to use the bbq and the 3 fridge/freezer were very convenient.since we brought cakes and cupcakes.

Family Get Together
This property was ideal for our family get-together. Lovely quiet spot, plenty of room for the grandchildren and easy access to Taupo. The communication with the owners was excellent but Bookabach did not send through the property details and key access as promised on the night before our stay. We had intended leaving home early on the day of our trip but it took some time trying to contact Bookabach. We then emailed the owners directly and we received a response a little later. Bookabach did send the info but it was received two days into our stay. I note from a previous review that this has happened before. No reflection on the owners though who were very helpful.
