"The check-in staff were exceptionally friendly and explained that they would accommodate an earlier check-in as soon as our room was ready. The lobby is really stunning, with fireplaces and a cozy ambience. The bar and restaurant on site were really nice too. I would recommend staying for breakfast, which we did. The breakfast spread exceeded my expectations. As we stayed on weeknights in January, it clearly was not the '' busy '' time of year. However, even though it wasn't that busy the spa of the hotel still had quite a few people in it. The spa facilities were beautiful, but I would imagine during the high season this gets overrun and wouldn't be as relaxing. "

"The best hotel stay in a long time thanks to manager Brian Budhlaeir. Our suite was so spacious, comfortable, clean and homely. It even had a christmas tree. There was live music on the piano during dinner, mulled wine and games. The atmosphere in the Aghadoe was so relaxing and we cannot wait to return."

"Amazing hotel to launch our drive around the ring the next day. Parking is available around the corner (5 minute walk) in an open parking lot. Many cafes and restaurants and bars all within 10 minutes maximum walk. Loved our stay!"

"This is an older facility - the room is small, but clean. The staff is wonderful. Parking was free on the street. Our room faced the harbor - beautiful - even with lousy weather. Not much open at night due to poor weather. We managed to fine a good pub. Breakfast was wonderful!"
