"I like these apartments, they are an easy walk from the station. They are simple but smartly done. The sound proofing on the windows is excellent and if you are in a room at the front of the building you need it. The TV reception is a bit sketchy for the foreign channels but the WiFi is good enough to watch things on your own devices. "

"We stayed with our 6 year old and had a very nice time, a bed was set up for him on the couch! The flat and location is very quiet and cozy and in an easy location to explore Basel. Check in was simple. There is a great coffee shop, Coop (grocery), and pizza within walking distance and is very easy to get to from the train station as well. "Highly recommended to anyone who loves to get out in the mountains. Networks of beautifully signposted Swiss footpaths pass the front door. The scenery is dramatic - limestone cliffs creating steep sided gorges - and makes for some challenging mountain biking! Gabriele was a generous host and her apartment made a cosy and extremely comfortable base for exploring. We were grateful for the warm log stove on the cool October nights."
