This is from one who is not a vegetarian! The service is personal and sincerely caring. I would recommend visiting Daisen and staying there. "

"Very nice place to stay. It needs more hot spring options and the kaiseki dinner needs to change on the second night. No tattoos allowed. No coed bathing. "

"My Japanese Mother-In-Law, wife and daughter stayed at the hotel for one night. Through the food and morning buffet was good the room was not in good condition. They notice a rotten smell as well as the washroom was not cleaned very well. They actually changed rooms. Also the futon and bedding should be replaced. "

"スタッフのサービスはよかったです。さすが星のやさんです。二つだけ改善点をお伝えします。お部屋のお風呂と内風呂の温度がぬるすぎて楽しめませんでした。海外のお客様のためかもしれませんが全然温まりませんでした。あとはお点前､担当の方からお菓子とお茶を交互にいただくのは流儀に反するとあとでこんこんと批判されました。私は自分の流儀が一番なのでと説教､素敵な楽しい気分は台無しでした。今後は流儀を気にしない一般のお客相手ということを理解して望んでほしいです。批判はもってのほかです。あとのサービススタッフの神楽､お酒と温泉のパック､夕食時のサーバさんとの会話などは素晴らしかったです。"

"スタンダードで泊まりましたが、すごく広い部屋でビックリ！チェックアウトの際、スタンダードでその部屋だったのかを聞いたら、空いていたからグレードアップしてくれたそうで…しかも部屋に温泉の出る檜風呂が付いていて、子供が小さいので家族で入れて助かったし本当に最高のおもてなしでした。 会席の料理も美味しいし、説明も丁寧で良かったです。 いろいろ融通がきいて、また来たいと思いました。"

One issue my group ran into was that there is no wheelchair ramp from outside into the lobby, and we required additional assistance to get into the building. However, everything else was great.
