"Relaxing stay in a fantastic location overlooking Opua harbor. Our upstairs unit had an outdoor deck overlooking the bay, where we spent time watching the boats & ferries come and go mornings & evenings.The apartment was spacious & well stocked. The host responded immediately to us, and made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant, comfortable stay. The house manager, Debbie, was extremely friendly & helpful.Exceptional location in a historic building!"

"Kay’s place is awesome! The view cannot be beat, the entire place is meticulously clean, and the couches/beds are very comfortable. We had a relaxing week at Kay’s, and we loved staying within walking distance to town, the beach, and the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Never used the kayaks, but we appreciated having plenty of towels for the beach or bath. Also, the kitchen included all of the cooking supplies we needed, and the BBQ was spotless (as well as the whole house). We were in NZ for 5 weeks,...

"We had 6 glorious weeks in The Kereru’s Nest. Fay and James were wonderful hosts. A real home from home (with a pool, wonderful views, friendly locals, superb beach etc etc). I really miss the Old Packhouse Saturday market in Kerikeri and the splendid workout that the driveway gave us (we made it a daily ritual to walk down and back up again to get in our “steps”). Plenty of walks/tramps in the vicinity too for when we wanted to be more active. Thoroughly recommend. "

"We loved our stay here so much!! Place is in excellent condition and hosts are great with communication. The breakfast included is incredibly thoughtful and was very handy for us.
