"Great place , classic kiwi batch with a nice kitchen and dishwasher! which was a nice surprise. Well laid out , good shower , comfy lounge ,comfy beds, beautiful views of hillside and estuary. Good parking, nice neighbors. Advice you take your own big umbrellas for shade on deck. Can park a 6mtr boat on grass then 2 to 3 vehicle's. Only con would be no details on rubbish collection. "Quaint railway cottage with train memorabilia. Its an olden day cottage but all modern comforts we needed, air con tv etc. Clean modern bathroom and adequate kitchen. Great spot right next to train station and rail trail it was fun sitting on the front porch with the dog, waving to the kids on the train and cyclists going by. Plenty of off street parking and a big fenced yard for the dog. Friendly management. Would stay again."

"The place was quite well equipped, except from a vacuumcleaner. If the owners pay Bachcare to look after this property, Bachcare should be ashamed of themselves. 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 nights, 4 people. An empty soap dispenser in the bathroom. Superficially clean, but don't look under the chairs, or in the drawers and cupboards. Sticky dust around the tv, and on top of the washing machine. Stuff lying around randomly in drawers. It really needs a good scrub all over, including the windows...

"Spent two nights at the property introducing my family to Pauanui. The property was great for our young family with access to the estuary literally a few feet away. The kids felt like they were having an adventure sleeping up top in the loft bedroom. House was very warm, great location and Amelia (our bach administrator) was super."

"We had a great stay. The property is close to town and the beach. Arrived to a clean and tidy property. Would definitely stay again. There is new furniture that isn’t shown in the photos online. A bigger couch inside, outdoor umbrella, new BBQ and new outdoor furniture. A couple of things for the property manager to note: - the washing line is broken - a few of the dining room chairs are missing screws and are wobbly - the previous tenants left a full council rubbish bin without a bin tag...
