"A cute cozy open plan cabin nestled by conifers, eucalyptus, manuka, rhododendron and Walnut.This small settlement has a school and a Pataka (no dairy or shops).Walks to Lake Rerewhakaaitu is 1hr return.A lovely base to explore the Lake district. Rotorua is a 30mn drive away.We stayed for a week with our puppy and daughter.Emma was handy for any questions.Ideal if you're looking for a remote place to disconnect."

"Our stay at this cabin was perfect!! It is such a great wee place for two people, we had a wedding not far and needed a place to stay and this was so good! Our hosts Sharon and Eric were great, Sharon popped over and checked on us to make sure everything was great, made us feel right at home! 10/10 Stay highly recommended. "

"You can't ask for much more than the place being exactly as advertised, that is a big plus! Take their "glamping" description to heart though. There is no Wi-Fi, and only a single USB type-A port for electrical plug in. I had to go buy a USB type-A to type-C cable to charge our phones, oops!Scott and Shona are lovely, and the recommendations in their info booklet in the cabin are awesome!"
