"We had a bit of a hiccup on our arrival. We contacted host whom replied quickly and solved the problem immediately. We loved our stay near Lake Okareka. We travelled into Rotarua to enjoy hot springs and mud baths. Go to Redwood Butchery in Rotarua - delicious lamb cutlets and scotch fillet!!! The bath was delightful on the deck - we are used to starry skies but this was the most stars ive ever seen. Enjoyed listening to the birds, watching the night sky - shooting stars and moving satellite...

"What a fabulous beach with access along a dune walkway from the driveway - right opposite Whale/Moutohora Island. Lee-Anne’s studio was spotless, with a very comfortable bed and great shower. Perfect for our dog too with its small fenced garden. The photos don’t do it justice. "

"I messaged the host the day before about check in procedure. No reply. Arrived to check in but nobody there and no details about how to access the lock box. Called the host’s number on VRBO but the number was unavailable. Pondered long and hard about my next move. The cleaners arrived to clean the main house at 3.10 and were very helpful. They had no idea we were checking in. They called their cleaning boss more than once and eventually found the code for the lock box so we could enter the...
