"This is the first time we’ve stayed here and will definitely go back . Great value with a lovely relaxed atmosphere . The room was beautifully clean with several touches that took it up to another level ( well done to the staff ) my husband was extremely impressed with the fire precautions. His words ( the best he’s ever seen ) he’s now retired but his job was a fire prevention officer with the fire brigade. "don't know why Hotels.com ask about a charge point - there's virtually none in Devon and Cornwall once you get outside of Plymouth and Truro so i have no idea why this would make any difference to the quality of the accommodation.... This is a great place to stay and is very well used by the locals. Ive stayed here a few times before so im happy to return whenever im in the area"

"The hotel was a joy to stay at. The staff are fabulous and Nicole at breakfast was so lovely. The food was really good and would recommend the Argento rose as a perfect end to the day. The bar staff would look after an open bottle for us in the fridge. The rooms were so comfortable and the bathroom was perfect and clean. I am definitely coming back on my next visit to Dartmoor. Thank you to all the staff for creating a welcoming hotel."

"We had the best time onboard, we are a family of 5 staying 4 nights, there was plenty of room and the cleanliness and facilities were outstanding, glen and Emma are so lovely and brought fresh bottles of water, milk, bread.
