"The hotel was immaculately clean. The bedrooms were very spacious & really nice. We slept in superior double room. The breakfast was amazing & lots of different things to choose from. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone."

"I can’t complain too much about the room, it was ok. Nothing special just what would be expected for the price. I had to pay for parking, I hadn’t seen this mentioned on the app when I booked it and the receptionist said it was because I had booked via hotels. Nothing against paying but there are plenty of other hotels local that don’t charge. I was told to book a table for food via the qr code. I tried several times but it wouldn’t work. "Lovely hotel stayed for a night as a family made use ofnpool which was fab- clean and in good condition Restaurant was good food was lovely hot and quick service kids were catered for very well. Lobby/reception area was very nice well kept and smelt amazing staff very friendly Rooms were comfortable and clean we were by the road no noice of traffic only critisism was room was a slightly dated. "

"The staff were amazing and helpful. The property was a good place to be in, especially for a family. The company is in the process of upgrading their new purchase, and are doing a fine job. I would suggest having small fridges and a microwave in the rooms, and real cups. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay. Many thanks to staff!"

"Had a wonderful stay at the Chester. All the staff we encountered were lovely and very helpful. The room was very comfortable and had a lovely feel to it. Did think that the bathroom was big enough to have a a bath and shower - we only had a shower but that would be the only negative. I hadn't asked for a bath so no complaint."

"Lovely old building with nicely appointed accommodation. Lovely touches in the rooms, including local snacks and robes. Pool in the Spa was a little on the chilly side but otherwise a great stay!"
